Uso doméstico y pequeña empresa perfectoYo lo compré hace un par de años y soluciona las necesidades de escaneo. hojas sueltas, escrituras, tickets, a mí si me va bien, a veces si la hoja está un poco deteriorada se puede atascar, pero creo que es la mejor relación calidad-precio que conozco.

SE ATASCA CONSTANTEMENTENo lo recomiendo para una oficina por más pequeña que sea. Se atasca constantemente y rompe la hoja por la derecha. Según el fabricante no acepta hojas de 90gr, pero el mismo problema lo tiene para los diferentes gramajes

Don't bother if you want to scan any quantityI bought this because I didn't want to have to use my computer to scan and the Brother website said that it would scan to Dropbox - it doesn't. After I set it all up and couldn't get it to work, I contacted support and all their support people could do was to tell me to return it because it doesn't scan to web at all. They then updated the website, so at least it is right now.
In the hope that I had not wasted my time in setting it up, I thought I would try scanning to USB - I wish I hadn't bothered - it took 1 min 33 seconds to scan and save (mostly save) a 1 sheet, 2 sided document.
On the plus side, the scans were of decent quality, but I just can't waste my life waiting for them to save! It is going back.

Good simple compact desktop scannerThis is a great basic scanner for everyday use. It can scan documents double sided very quickly.
Obviously this can only be used on sheets of paper, and books etc are not compatible.
We have just started a new business and the scanner has saved us a lot of time when it comes to uploading contracts etc.

Scanner purchaseWhilst the scanner was just what I was looking for I am very disappointed the software provided did not allow me to set up the scanner and therefore I am not currently using it until I can find a solution.

Fast set-up and scanning with difficulties with sheet-fedEasy set up to use in wifi. Fast scanning even with highest resolution of 600dpi. Main point is that the scanner pies not pull in paper straight. With highest resolution paper is pulled through slower - I made a diy construction that ensures a4 paper is fed straight even when using lower dpi. Now it's fine - but brother should be able to come up with a solution on its own. Will be even more important if more pages shall be scanned.

Great DeviceI bought this to scan documents for home and work. It is small for storage and very easy to set up.
For the cost the speed of the device is very good and the PDF scan quality has been more than acceptable at full speed.
There have been one or two paper jams but hat probably had more to do with how I stacked the device rather than an major issue.
For the price I think you would struggle to find a faster scanner.
It ticks a lot of boxes.
